Lanika has experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, ADHD, grief, parenting skills, low self-esteem, OCD, and adjustment to life changes and stressors.
Lanika Wilson, LMSW, earned her Master’s in Social Work from the Catholic University of America in 2020. She believes that mental health is just as important as physical health and is dedicated to helping clients become the best version of themselves. Lanika incorporates a variety of therapeutic interventions to assist clients in managing thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She adopts an integrative approach that combines traditional talk therapy with trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and mindfulness.
Lanika initiates the healing process by establishing a natural therapeutic relationship with each individual client. She values a collaborative approach with clients to enhance the therapeutic relationship and help shape their mental and emotional well-being. Lanika looks forward to working with clients and providing an emotional toolkit to help them lead a more fulfilling life!
