Teletherapy is providing therapy through a live video connection, over the internet.
The majority of insurance plans provide reimbursement for this service. Your copay/coinsurance/deductible would still apply, in the same way as an in-office therapy session.
You must have a high-speed internet connection or cell service with adequate service to stay connected during your therapy session.
Our office is HIPAA compliant, our therapists provide teletherapy in a quiet secluded space. To keep your visit confidential, you should find a quiet secluded place before logging into the teletherapy platform using your phone or computer.
In order to receive teletherapy our office will ask you for an email address. This will allow our office to send you the link to the client portal where you may set up your account information, complete any required forms and receive therapy online.
