Family Therapy

Our Family Therapy sessions help your family develop positive attitudes toward life’s most complex and challenging circumstances.

Family counseling is guided to promote more efficient communication between you and your family and obtain goals that everyone feels are realistic.

Achieving these goals may include:

  • Discussing past disagreements

  • Identifying where the tension lies

  • Working through tough adjustments such as divorce, grief, and loss, or a recent move

  • Discussing the history of abuse (mental/emotional, physical, and/or sexual)

Family therapy will benefit you if you are struggling with:

  • Keeping "control" of your house

  • Effectively communicating with other members of the family

  • Feeling the family is united 

 

Family therapy sessions typically last an average of 45-90 minutes.
