

Amanda Jones, LMSW
Amanda Jones, LMSW became interested in the field of mental health as a career during high school, at which time she began taking psychology elective courses. Post graduation, she earned her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychology from Towson University and then completed her Master of Social Work degree at Salisbury University. Amanda has worked with diverse populations in a variety of mental health settings, including community outpatient centers, crisis response, and case management services. Amanda has experience treating individuals presenting with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, family and interpersonal conflict, trauma, and other life stressors. Amanda provides therapy to adolescents 16+ and adults.
Amanda’s therapy style is a collaboration of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused, and Goal Oriented Therapy. She also feels strongly that the rapport and trust between client and clinician is of crucial importance to the client’s progress towards their goals and success in therapy.
In her personal life, Amanda dedicates herself to time and activities with her husband, four children, and extended family. She also enjoys seasonal festivals, lattes, and avoiding spiders.
